An ultrasound scan will confirm a pregnancy and allow us to monitor your bitch and her litter progress and condition throughout the gestation. The ultrasound can give you an idea of the litter size and detect any possible problems. More importantly, we can predict the whelping date, allowing you to get completely organised for your arrivals.

Ultrasound scanning is non-invasive, painless and safe. Your bitch’s wellbeing is our priority. We have many years’ experience handling a range of dog breeds from tiny delicate females to massive Cane Corsos. Scans can be carried out while your dog is standing or lying down, whichever is more comfortable for them. We use a water based gel that is safe to use on the abdomen and our equipment is sanitised after every use to prevent cross contamination and spread of infection.
